David Pollacchi
David Pollacchi specialises in corporate law acting on the sale of companies and businesses, reorganisations, buy-outs/buy-ins, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, investment agreements, partnerships and other structures used by small and medium sized enterprises. David deals with the employment element of transactional work, the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations and Service Agreements for senior personnel (and the termination of them).
David works with accountants and tax advisors (both in the UK and overseas) and will often play a pivotal role project managing transactions frequently with an international element. He is used to helping private companies and their directors with the day to day running of their businesses resolving issues and disputes without the need for litigation. His knowledge and experience of Insolvency legislation enables him to advise companies and their directors when things start to go wrong. He can also act quickly for clients wishing to purchase businesses and/or assets from receivers and liquidators.
David has been involved in a variety of different sectors including tax related restructuring, corporate aspects of property transactions, manufacturing and service sectors generally, intellectual property, computer and IT sector, hotels, restaurants, pubs, bottled water suppliers, printing, publishing and related trades and professional practices.
Born in Scotland and graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1985 David is admitted as a solicitor in the separate legal jurisdictions of Scotland and England & Wales. He joined LSG as a partner in May 1996.
